This series began with a theme that was about language and narrative, the stories we tell about ourselves, each other and the world around us.  It began with a number of more serious works that felt rigid and forced.  It evolved into a more lighthearted series.

Life is full of all these little moments that might be stories or they might just be small moments.  You know the ones.  The moment where I had to stand alone in my opinions.  The moment I knew I had fallen in love.  A moment of feeling powerful.  Then there are times when we see others and the world around us in these stop frame kind of moments. In these times, the conversation in the room seems to freeze. We notice a bird mid-flight, or swim and see the fish like they are in a Jacques Cousteau movie.  It is in these moments that I feel the most alive, when I have a chance to reflect on the swirl of life all around me.
